With the Klauke EKM 60 ID mandrel press, you’re perfectly equipped for every cable processing challenge. Thanks to the innovative mandrel system and the 2-stage telescopic cylinder, all Klauke tubular cable lugs and connectors in standard design, as well as tubular cable lugs for switchgear connections, can be reliably crimped without changing dies or pre-settings – from multi-stranded to fine-stranded conductors.
With a pressing force of 60 kN and the specially designed stepped mandrel, a fill ratio of up to 92 % is achieved – for maximum electrical and mechanical safety.

The EKM 60 ID can also be used with crimp cable lugs according to DIN 46234, pin cable lugs according to DIN 46230, as well as crimp connectors according to DIN 46341 Like all other cable lugs, the 2-stage telescopic cylinder guarantees a safe and precise connection for every cross-section from 10 to 240 mm².
The tool’s intelligent force control starts with a gentle press and then applies a higher force for optimal results. This automatically applies the required force, with no pre-setting needed. This prevents both over-pressing and under-pressing.

The EKM 60 ID also allows you to work with aluminium crimp cable lugs and connectors in accordance with DIN standards – in cross-sections from 50 mm² to 240 mm². Bimetal crimp cable lugs and connectors (aluminium & copper) are also crimped with ease. The major benefit: no need to change dies or adjust settings. You simply switch from copper to aluminium and continue to benefit from all the features. The result: Maximum flexibility, maximum safety and perfect workmanship – using just one tool.
