A donation to the Berufskolleg Technik

16 December 2019

We are supporting the Berufskolleg Technik in Remscheid (BTR) on its way to having its own automation laboratory with measuring equipment worth around €2,000.

The 16 Greenlee two-pole voltage testers with LCD display are already firmly scheduled in the BTR's planned automation laboratory. Both workshop teacher Stefan Schmidt and BTR headmaster Oliver Lang are very pleased about the support from the region.

Around 200 students will benefit from the planned automation laboratory and our measuring equipment during their training at BTR, including our prospective mechatronics and electronics technicians for industrial engineering.

It's a classic win-win situation. Because in order to be able to guarantee up-to-date, modern training, it's important that both the company and the school have the right equipment and professional tools at their disposal. Only by closely linking the school and practical contents and through good cooperation can we prepare our trainees for the increasingly complex world of work and intelligent, networked systems and provide them with professional qualifications.

For this reason, we're already looking forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with BTR.
