Baking cookies together for a good cause!

Klauke Aktiv is a series of events organised by employees for employees.
At the end of 2019, two events were held by our "Klauke Aktiv" community – our Christmas cookie baking together with the children of the Evangelische Jugendhilfe Bergisch Land under the motto "Klauke Aktiv – Sozial" and our cosy Christmas get-together for a drink at the Remscheid Christmas market!
Both events were very popular and the children from the homes were clearly enthusiastic. To kick off the cookie baking, our Chairman Fred Pond addressed all participants with a few words. Afterwards, we started baking our socks off! When the cookies were prepared and baking in the oven, many inquisitive children, divided into two groups, were enthusiastic about a tour of the Klauke production. Finally, of course, we tucked in to our eagerly awaited cookies as well as seeing the best cookie recipe receive its due award. The winner was the "Moroccan almond pastry" recipe. The remaining cookies were donated to the children's home and each child received another gift bag. Upon reflection, both events were a complete success.

The "Klauke Aktiv" team wishes everyone an active and healthy 2020!
