Copper and aluminium cables with different cross-sections are used in data centres: for cooling, power supply, monitoring and access technology, as well as for earthing, UPS and data transmission. Klauke has developed the right system solution for connecting cables, consisting of tools, ferrules and cable lugs for the entire range of cables used, to meet the specific requirements of the various trades. Customer specifications play a decisive role here – only in this way can we at Klauke guarantee a secure electrical connection with our system solutions. The Klauke system solution also meets the highest standards in terms of occupational safety and the resilience of the connections. This applies not only to insulated ferrules and crimp cable lugs with a cross-section of 0.1 to 6 mm², but also to branch terminals. The battery-powered hydraulic crimping tools cover all cross-sections from 6 to 630 mm². Battery-powered hydraulic cutting tools are available for cutting cables up to a diameter of 105 mm. Depending on the requirements of the individual trades, electromechanical crimping and stripping tools or manual crimping tools offer the optimum solution in each case.
