We are pleased to welcome a total of fourteen new apprentices to our company at the start of the new training year. They include:
Dual vocational training has always been very important at Klauke. This year we are enabling more trainees than ever before to lay the foundation for their professional future. Together with the new trainees, we were also able to welcome our new industrial training manager, who has been responsible for industrial technical training since 1 August 2019.
Including our new employees, a total of 35 trainees are currently employed at Klauke. In order to prepare our trainees in the best possible way for their professional career within Klauke, we impart knowledge in such a way that they can be integrated as full team members immediately after their training. In addition to good grades, we expect a continual willingness to learn and initiative. The new training workshop that is currently under construction will have a major influence on this, particularly within the framework of the industrial-technical training initiatives. We will report on this in more detail in due course.
Klauke attaches great importance to strengthening the trainees' professional self-confidence and especially their sense of community right from the very beginning. We promote this through individual training, joint meetings and excursions as well as social activities. As a kick-off event for the new apprentices, a joint Emerson Onboarding Day will take place in our company at the beginning of September, at which other Emerson locations with their new apprentices will also participate.
