Faster cable assemblies: with the new Klauke KPM15 pneumatic crimping tool.

Klauke´s new KPM15 pneumatic crimping tool features exceptionally fast crimping cycles of less than one second. This device is therefore suitable for the serial production of connectors. This tool offers considerable benefits for panel and switch cabinet building. The ergonomic design allows for an easy and optimized one hand operation, a 360° rotating base and a low weight of only 1.5 kg meeting the electrician’s demands. The KPM15 pneumatic crimping tool operates at 6 to 8 bars; and can be used in temperature ranges from –20°C bis +40°C.

When used with the adapter KPM15 PRO, crimping heads from the Klauke PRO-Series can also be used. This makes  the KPM15 a multifunctional high quality crimping tool consistently capable of  crimping cable end sleeves, insulated cable connectors, pipe and crimped cable lugs, push-on connectors and also connectors of photovoltaic applications. The adaptors are simply held in place via integral locking pins. In practice the quick change fixing pins allow the crimping heads to be quickly and securely changed without fuss. The use of additional tools are not required.

Especially practical is the KPM15TH accessory with the ball head fixture and foot operated switch which easily turns the base tool into a bench mounted crimping system suitable for producing serial cable assemblies. The foot switch enables the user to use both hands to position the material allowing high quantities to be crimped in quick succession. The integrated, releasable lock system on the crimping tool insures constant and safe working results.
